Jean Beauquis Park, AMBILLY
A pleasant park of 2-3 hectares, offering a place of relaxation on lawns shaded by beautiful trees. Quaint ponds with fish and lilies. Children's playground. This park is part of a natural environment. The flowered town hall and fountain decorate the entrance.

  • Getting there: Go to Rue de Genève, then Rue de l'Helvétie and Town Hall.


Saint-François Park, AMBILLY

  • Entrance: Rue M. Coco, near Ambilly church.

Jardins d'Iris Park, ANNEMASSE
Jardin d'Iris Park is a flowered garden with shade trees, situated on the edge of the Arve River. A very pleasant site with a view of the Mont Blanc. In May, thousands of irises flower (50 varieties and 5000 plants), with varied colours.

Claudius Montessuit Park
This flower park in the centre of Annemasse includes a rustic pond, lawns and playground and offers a pleasant place for relaxation. An artistic center Villa du Park is situated inside this park. 

  • Access: Rue de Genève - Rue Molière - Rue du Parc.

Eugene Maitre Park
This recent park was designed on the theme of the maple tree, of which there are more than 50 varities. Original design - giant chess-board, tabletop tennis - playground.

Dom Bellot Square
The public garden is dedicated to the memory of the monk, architect of Saint-Joseph Church.

  • Access, car park: Avenue Jules-Ferry, opposite to the Saint-Joseph Church.

René Cassin Square
In Annemasse, this pleasant spot includes a playground.
A small quiet park at the doorstep of the city, favourable for relaxation in a peaceful setting.

  • Access: Rue de Genève, then Rue du Brouaz
    Access, carpark: Rue de l'Annexion.

Châtelaine Leisure Zone, GAILLARD
The Châtelaine leisure zone is located on the edge of the Arve River. This natural environment of 11 ha, offers walks, relaxation, and open-air sports. The sports equipment is particularly interesting. Opposite this zone is a market garden.

  • Access: Quai d' Arve direction Gaillard, then Rue de l'Industrie, (zone de la Châtelaine), and Rue de la Zone.

Petit Vallard Park
This park is located within an urban environment, near La Porte de France, behind the Gaillard Post Office, connecting La Rue de la Liberation to la Ruede Vallard. A shallow pool welocmes young children, available during June, July and August. Includes a shady green resting place with many benches. Frequently visited by families.

  • Access: follow the signs to the "station d'épuration".

Haut-Monthoux Park, VÉTRAZ-MONTHOUX
This park is located on the top of Monthoux Hill overlooking the town. This natural reserve is an old Episcopal fortress and a place of relaxation in a peaceful environment.  Dominating the park and paths is a restored chapel, vestige of its Episcopal past.
Walks in the old village close to Haut-Monthoux, discover a splendid panorama of the valley of Arve River and view of the Mont Blanc.

  • Access: From Vétraz-Monthoux City Hall take the road La Fougonne - Bas-Monthoux: Route de Taninges, then on the right take Route de Monthoux, then Route de la Colline.

Les Ecureuils Park, VILLE-LA-GRAND
A very beautiful park of recent construction, located on the edge of the stream Foron. A large pond with cascade falls and a fountain. The covered kiosk overlooking the park makes it possible to admire the panoramic view. There is a playground as well as pleasant walks around the 2 ha park and along the pedestrian path that runs alongside the stream to le Crêt hamlet. Beautiful flowered surroundings give a pleasant, colourful touch, which attracts many visitosr.
Opening hours: according to season. Closed Thursdays.

  • Access: from the centre town of Ville la Grand (church), turn on the left towards la rue Fernand-David until the railway crossing level (SNCF).

Les Mouilles Park
This park is located on the edge of the industrial and commercial park of Ville-la-Grand. Many changes have been made recently, and now has sporting equipment (stunt bike course and VTT Trial, roller park, health course).

Pedestrian path in Ville-la-Grand
It connects Les Ecureuils Park to Les îles du Foron Park. Departure at the end of La rue du Vieux Moulin. It skirts the Foron stream and circumvents Les Ecureuils Park. The path continues on the other side of the railway crossing along the Saint-François school.
